Easter Egg Hunt

We missed every possible Easter Egg hunt that Caelan could have done - do to traveling. It's a good thing that the Easter bunny came and left eggs in the backyard for Caelan!!!

Matt recorded it on video, while I took pictures. We are so cheesy...

The Easter bunny put one of the eggs up in Caelan's playset! What a tricky bunny!

Annual KC trip part 3 - The Weldes

Our good friends, the Weldes, moved out to Kansas City in the last year so we now have more people to visit when we go. One evening last week, Caelan and I drove over to the Weldes house to play and have some dinner. We had a blast and really hope to see them again soon!

I just missed them holding hands...

Catching bubbles!!!

Annual KC trip part 2 - Great Grandma's House

Of course we traveled down the road to see Great Grandma while we were in Kansas/Missouri. Great Grandma thought that Caelan was very smart saying, "Are you sure he's not three instead of two?" Trying to keep a toddler busy in a grandma's non-toddler proofed house can be very interesting....Caelan and I spent time playing tag, walking to the Walmart that was built behind her house, and watching Handy Manny among other things...

Of course, we also took a trip to the farm while we were there...

Annual KC Trip part 1 - Caelan, Lilli, and Katelin

My mom, Caelan, and I took our annual trip to Kansas City over Spring Break last week. What a difference a year makes! Caelan watched the portable DVD player most of the airplane ride to and from KC, voiced his disdain for sleeping in a closet by saying, "I no wanna go to bed", and ran around after his cousin Lilli and friend Luke on various playgrounds.

Following are pictures of Caelan and his cousing Lilli. If we lived closer, I don't doubt that they would be really good friends. The really seemed to enjoy each other's company.

Lilli was teaching Caelan the "right way" to brush his teeth...

Grandmas and their grandbabies!

Lilli fell down the slide and I had my camera. Is it bad that I took a picture instead of helping her up?

Lilli's younger sister, baby Katelin. While we were out there Lilli resorted to calling her "Caelan" too.

We lost a sock!
