And....Donovan is 8 months old. From standing to talking, he is growing up too fast. As you'll see below, he is on the verge of crawling and still has his toothless grin.

President's Day Fun
To celebrate President's day we went to the playground. Hey- it's THE THING to do on President's day! We thought it might be a little warmer than it was, but we didn't let the cold dissuade us from having fun.

Scootin' and Readin'
A couple of our favorite activities in the last couple of months have included scooter riding (well- walking for the rest of us) and reading.
Since this has been such a mild winter, we have been able to get outside a lot in the afternoons. Caelan loves his scooter, which he got for Christmas. It goes pretty quickly down our street so I'm glad that he has figured out how to use the brakes!
I love that face! He's such a big boy now, but sometimes in pictures you can still see his baby face. :)
Working hard to get up the hill!
We've always been a reading family. Caelan loves books and now Donovan loves books too. Caelan has started sounding out the words when we are reading. Yesterday he read an entire book to me. I am so proud!
"Look at the pictures!"
"Now let me explain what is happening..."
If you look closely, you'll see the line of drool...Donovan loves reading books, chewing books, and drooling on books!

Also- for the record- tonight I put him to bed wearing 18 month pajamas! No joke...

Winter Snow?
When it snowed a couple of weeks ago, I had to get the boys out for some pictures. I'm glad I did because it might be my only chance this winter. It's been so warm!!! I'm not sure if you remember, but Donovan is wearing the exact same outfit that Caelan wore during his first snow.
Christmas
Better late than never right?! Here we go...Christmas from two months ago. (To be fair, we've had a rough go of it lately...)
Christmas Eve we went to the Hafts' house to visit with dear friends. Here is Caelan's first Hanukkah celebration.
Even though Caelan only sees Isaac every once in a while, they always come back to wherever they left off. Like mothers like sons...
The boys had to say goodbye to Stanley our elf. He was going back to the North Pole since his job of watching Caelan (and Donovan) for nice list status was over.
Merry Christmas!!! It's surreal seeing my kids pose in front of the Christmas tree for a picture...
The beginning of the craziness...
"To Mommy. From Boys"
The Bodek side of the family
Grandma, Pop pop, and the grandsons
Annual picture in front of the tree. I will always cherish these pictures!
It was a great, busy, full of love Christmas. I love going back and reliving that day through our blog!
