Santa!!!!

Last weekend, as we were coming out of the gym, we noticed that there was a Santa Claus visit going on. Now that Caelan knows that Santa says, "Ho Ho Ho - Merry Christmas" (and says it repeatedly), we thought it'd be good to meet the man himself. Of course, he wasn't "dressed for a picture" and I didn't have my own camera with me, but they did have a photographer there to take some pictures. Ugh...now I know why my photography teacher said "always have your camera with you". The pictures are the best, but I thought I'd post his "Santa Meeting" anyway...

SNOW DAY!!!

How could we not enjoy a day like today!!! We all slept in, cuddled in bed, played in the snow, drank hot chocolate, played the wii, and actually got some stuff done around the house. This is how a Saturday is supposed to be...

Caelan was mesmerized by the snow...He and I spent a lot of time staring at it while Matt ran out to Target to buy snow pants, boots, and a sled for Caelan.

On the way to the hill....

Note that Caelan has his eyes closed!

"Look at my snowball Daddy!"

"I'm cold and wet...I don't want to go inside where it's nice and warm!" (Oh toddlers....)

new blog

check it out... here's my new photography blog...

Little friends and pizza

A couple of weeks ago, after our Fraim photo shoot, we enjoyed some playtime and pizza with the Fraims and the Webers.

Daddy's girl

Ian loved our little playground

It never ceases to amaze me...all kids need to bond is a table to pound on...

And the newest addition to the crew (though not so little any longer) is Ben!

Caelan and his bestest buddy Isaac

A couple of weeks ago Lindsey and Isaac came down to visit Lila and Mommy Anna (who came up to visit). Here are some pictures of Caelan and his best friend Isaac. Yes- we made them wear matching onesies!

Enjoying the weather

This past Sunday, we took advantage of the great weather by meeting my dad for lunch, then heading to the park. Needless to say, we weren't the only ones who had this idea. But we enjoyed it nonetheless.

Here he comes...Watch out...
Whew, made it...Let's go again!

Halloween part deux...

Since Caelan had so much fun trick-or-treating in our neighborhood, we thought we'd take him out again at Grandma and Grandpa's house. My parents' neighbors wanted to see Caelan in his costume (as did Grandma and Grandpa) so we did a "Part Deux" of sorts...As always- Caelan had a blast at Grandma and Grandpa's.

"Come on Grandma...Let me show you how it's done!"

"Trick or treat!"

Poor Ryan had to do work the whole evening

Eating pumpkin pie with Uncle Matthew

Happy Halloween!!! (In case you're wondering, Grandma is trying to get Caelan to smile.)

Halloween!!!

Tonight was Caelan's first "real" Halloween. Last year we hung out with friends since Caelan was little and we didn't really live in a trick-or-treating neighborhood. Matt's mom and brother came over tonight to hang out and then passed out candy while we went trick-or-treating. We met up with our neighbors from across the street and went up and down the court and to some other houses in the neighborhood. Caelan had a ton of fun and had the "trick-or-treat" and "thank you" thing down by the time we got home. This is definitely one of those nights that I will remember the rest of my life!

Swinging on the swings with Grandma!

Caelan rode in his wagon from house to house

So did Izzy and Olivia, who live across the street

Dinosaur costume - $12, Elmo candy carrier - $4, taking your little boy trick-or-treating - priceless!

"Trick or treat!"

Milk and Candy in his dinosaur costume...it doesn't get any better than that!

Fixed Length Fun

Here are some pictures that I took with my fixed length lense. It's the cheapest lense that I have, but it's a lot of fun to play around with.
