Egg Hunt

Today we met up with the Fraims and some of their friends for an Easter Egg Hunt. It was more like an Easter Egg Raid (credit goes to Melanie for that label), but the kids had fun nonetheless. It turned out to be a beautiful day despite possibilities of rain.

The birthday party...

We had Caelan's birthday party at Swimkids where he has his swim lessons. You never know what kind of weather you are going to have in March and, as it turned out, the day was gorgeous. Oh well- the kids still had fun at the indoor pool.

Birthday Scavenger Hunt

While Caelan and I were running errands on the morning of his birthday, some pirates came by. Apparently, they had left some treasure here, but were unable to find it again. They left the clues for Caelan to find the treasure as only a birthday boy was allowed to find the treasure...

9 months!!!

Donovan is now 9 months old. He is crawling and standing up in his crib in the middle of the night. At his 9 month appointment he was "off the charts" for weight and 90% percentile for height. He has the cutest, chunkiest, rolliest legs you've ever seen. He still doesn't have any teeth. :)

4 years!!!

Earlier this month, Caelan turned 4. How we got to 4 so quickly, I'll never be able to tell you. 4 is interesting. 4 is temper tantrums and poop jokes. 4 is solving problems and building amazing lego creations. 4 is opinions and independence, but still wanting to cuddle with mommy and daddy. 4 is heart wrenching because my baby is growing too fast, but breathtaking because he is becoming and increasingly amazing human being.
