Easter

Here are some cute Easter pics...

The view from the pregnant belly...

And most exciting of all....Caelan got a big boy bike for Easter! I still can't believe that he is big enough to ride it....

Impromptu family pictures

With no forethought (or makeup for that matter) I had Sara take some pictures of the 3.5 of us.

West Coast Part 2: Seattle

After San Francisco, we traveled to Seattle to check out Sara and Josh's new home. I really like Seattle and may have to move there in the future...

The weather was great while we were there. This is at a local park.

Climbing trees with daddy is a right of passage. Well- by "climbing" I mean, picking Caelan up and putting him in the tree..

We tasted these amazing jellies at the Pike Place market. Yum!

There was so much beautiful produce (and artisan crafts...and fish) at the market

On our last day there we went to chill at yet another local park. (Have I mentioned how much I love Seattle?) This was Caelan's first kite flying experience and he LOVED it!

Caelan and daddy with dueling kites

Silly Sara on the swings

No words for this....

West Coast Part 1: San Francisco

For Spring Break we traveled to the west coast to visit some good friends. First stop was San Francisco to visit Svetlana, Andrew, and their new little guy Anderson. It was Matt and Caelan's first trip to San Francisco and despite the long plane ride, a barfing virus that Caelan contracted, and the time difference- we still had an amazing time.

Sweet little Anderson

Caelan checking out the famous cable car. He feel asleep on this cable car twice while in SF!

Our little sailor...

Sara also came to San Francisco while we were there. I love this picture of the two of them in the rain at the Japanese Tea Garden.

Doesn't he seem enthused...."Mom- seriously- more pictures? In the rain?"

Trip to Atlanta

This is out of order, but I forgot to blog about our trip to Atlanta. We went down to surprise Marco for his birthday. As always, we had a blast visiting M and M and miss them like crazy!

Atlanta weather in February is perfect for grilling!

Boy do I miss that puppy dog....she was exhausted by the end of the night after Caelan was done playing with her

We traveled to a little town close to Atlanta that was designed to look like a German town. It was perfect for celebrating a German's birthday.
