...And so we are here...
It's so bittersweet when your babies grow older. I can't believe that Donovan is 3 months old! He is such a sweet boy with a great smile. He loves people-watching and protests when everybody leaves a room that he is in. People say that he looks like me. Thoughts?

Beach Post #7: Family pictures
I wanted to make sure and take some family beach pictures. The last day was perfect for it since we couldn't play on the beach (and it was overcast, which is perfect for pictures).
Beach Post #6: The Big Storm
The night before our last day, there was an incredible storm. It really made me appreciate what it must have been like during the hurricane a couple of weeks ago. Scary stuff!
And up goes the red flag...
We went down to check out the beach. Caelan and Pop-pop are looking at the red flag. I think Caelan was a little sad since this meant no swimming, but he was amazed by the ocean after the storm.
Nobody on the beach!

Beach Post #5: Family Time
One of my favorite moments was an impromptu evening walk on the beach with Caelan. After a couple of minutes I looked up to see Matt carrying Donovan towards us. I couldn't help, but take the time to document it.
Beach Post #4: The pool
I'm not sure that we will be able to rent a beach house without a pool ever again. With kiddos, it seems like the only way to go. For our little swimmer, it was a must.
This is how he looked after jumping in dozens of times

Beach Post #2: The house
Here are a couple of pictures from the house. It was a great house. Even though it didn't qualify as "oceanfront", it had an AMAZING view.
See! A pretty sweet view!
That's our house in the background
We spent a lot of time chillin...
and cuddling...
and sleeping....
and eating!

Beach Post #1: The Beach!
Here's the first of many posts from our beach trip last week.
First steps in the ocean this year!
The start of the shell collection...and boy did we collect a lot! Needless to say, we had to choose from the hundreds that were collected. I think we narrowed it down to 30 or so...
Just daddy and me, and a whole lot of ocean...
Trying to fly the turtle kite that the Uncle Matthew and Uncle Ryan bought for his birthday
This year Caelan had a blast building sandcastles. What I really mean by that is that Matt and I had a blast building sandcastles too.
Donovan's first time at the beach!
...and since we make really fair skinned babies, he spent most of his time under the beach umbrella.
